Reasons that may cause cat hair loss
Cats will naturally lose and shed their fur throughout the year. They generally lose hundreds of hairs a day that die and become loose and will need regular grooming or brushing to remove them.
Cat’s also go through shedding phases where they’ll lose more hair at certain times of the year. Typically this begins in April and is its heaviest in the month of May.
If your cats fur is trimmed or removed due to shedding it will typically grow back within a few weeks and be looking normal again in a couple of months. Keep in mind that if your cat has a naturally longer coat it may take longer than a couple of months.
